As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex special educational needs across all key stages. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an inclusive, values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex SEN across all subject areas and key stages
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure individual learning needs are met
  • Deliver high-quality, tailored support in both mainstream and specialist settings
  • Promote the school’s values of ambition, responsibility, and excellence in all interactions
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of learning activities that align with curriculum goals
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Use IT systems efficiently to support learning and administrative tasks
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive practices and policies within the school

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience working with students with complex SEN in a mainstream or special needs setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Positive, can-do attitude and flexibility to support students across all key stages
  • Confidence in using IT systems

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering individualized support plans
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Background in pastoral care or therapeutic support
