The Opportunity:

Join a dedicated team as a Study Supervisor to support 6th Form students in developing effective study habits and maintaining positive behaviour. This role involves delivering workshops, mentoring, and providing administrative support to ensure students become independent and successful learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support 6th Form students during study periods and deliver workshops on effective learning strategies
  • Mentor students and provide guidance on academic and personal development
  • Ensure a positive and productive study environment with high standards of behaviour
  • Assist with managing student attendance and support those with specific needs
  • Provide regular administrative support to the 6th Form Operations Manager and wider team
  • Collaborate with the 6th Form Team to enhance student well-being and academic success
  • Promote a culture of independent learning and self-discipline among students
  • Contribute to the smooth running of 6th Form operations and events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • An interest in working with 6th Form students and supporting their academic journey
  • No previous school experience is necessary, but enthusiasm and dedication are essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment

Preferred

  • Experience in education or student support
  • Background in mentoring or pastoral care
  • Knowledge of effective study techniques and learning strategies
  • Experience with behaviour management in a school setting
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and work patterns
