Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of music lessons and extracurricular activities across all year groups
  • Maintain and manage a wide range of musical instruments and equipment
  • Assist in the preparation and setup of music spaces for rehearsals and performances
  • Collaborate with music teachers to enhance the school's music curriculum and student engagement
  • Ensure the safe and proper use of all musical equipment by students and staff
  • Provide technical support during school events and performances
  • Keep detailed records of instrument maintenance and usage
  • Contribute to the development of the school's music program through innovative ideas and initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a music-related role, ideally within an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of musical instruments and equipment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently within a busy school environment
  • Commitment to the school's values and ethos

Preferred

  • Experience in supporting music education or performance
  • Understanding of music technology and sound equipment
  • Experience with curriculum development or student support initiatives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
