Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective singing lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Develop and maintain a structured and progressive curriculum tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to enhance student learning and performance.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Prepare and maintain lesson plans, resources, and performance materials.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and creativity.
  • Attend school events and contribute to the school’s music and cultural activities.
  • Ensure a safe and respectful classroom environment that aligns with the school’s values and ethos.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified music teacher with experience in singing instruction.
  • Strong knowledge of vocal techniques and music theory.
  • Proven ability to engage and motivate students of all ages and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL) or similar.
