The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Learning Support Assistant - Intervention to join a dynamic and supportive team. This role is essential in delivering targeted interventions to support student learning and development, with a focus on phonics and individualized support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted interventions to support student learning and development.
• Adapt planning and resources to meet the needs of individual students.
• Plan and deliver phonics sessions using the Read Write Inc programme.
• Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and attend parent meetings.
• Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Use a range of strategies to support learning in the classroom.
• Manage a range of behaviour needs effectively.
• Promote the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A bachelor's degree or high school certificate.
• Previous experience as an Inclusion Learning Support Assistant.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum.
• Excellent understanding of phonics and the Read Write Inc programme.
• Ability to plan and deliver a range of interventions.
• Understanding of IEPs and experience attending parent meetings.

Preferred

• Experience with behaviour management strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a school setting with a focus on inclusion and pastoral care.
