The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our school buildings and facilities. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, functional, and inspiring learning environment across both the Prep and Pre-Prep sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate maintenance and repair activities across the school estate
• Oversee the maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and heating systems
• Ensure all works are carried out to the required standard and in line with health and safety guidelines
• Conduct proactive repairs and renewals where competent
• Supervise and support the maintenance team in the completion of tasks
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and work completed
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers where necessary
• Ensure compliance with the school’s policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within maintenance or facilities management
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, including plumbing, heating, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel between sites
• Commitment to health and safety standards and procedures

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting
• Leadership or team management experience
• Experience with maintenance management software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required
