Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Maths and Computing lessons to students of all abilities.
- Collaborate with Heads of Maths and Computing to ensure a cohesive and high-quality curriculum.
- Support the development of a positive and forward-thinking departmental culture.
- Contribute to enrichment activities such as coding clubs and numeracy challenges.
- Engage in professional development and share best practices with colleagues.
- Assist in the development of digital learning platforms and resources.
- Work closely with other departments to support the school’s STEAM initiative.
- Ensure pupils are appropriately challenged, motivated, and supported to achieve their best.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and Computing.
- Experience in teaching at a relevant level.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire confidence in pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
- Proactive approach to teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and resource creation.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms.
- Background in STEAM or related subjects.
- Experience in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
