We are seeking a passionate Maths and English Tutor to support KS3 and KS4 students, including GCSE preparation. This is a chance to make a real impact on young people’s lives and help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths and English lessons tailored to individual needs
• Support students in developing GCSE-level skills and exam techniques
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Build strong, trusting relationships with learners to foster motivation and confidence
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent and positive support for each student
• Celebrate progress and encourage a growth mindset in students
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance teaching practice

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher or tutor with experience in Maths and English (KS3–KS4)
• Strong GCSE-level subject knowledge in Maths and English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK

Preferred

• Experience working with students who have challenging behaviour or learning needs
• Experience in alternative provision or special educational needs settings
• Familiarity with GCSE exam requirements and marking criteria
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students
