As a Maths Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to learners across multiple campuses. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspiring educator to shape the future of students through engaging teaching and learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver a range of GCSE resit and functional skills courses;
- Contribute to the development of teaching, learning, and assessment strategies;
- Maintain accurate records of learners’ progress in college and the workplace;
- Support learners in achieving their educational goals;
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching;
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and current;
- Engage in professional development and training opportunities provided by the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline;
- GCSE Grade C (4/5) in Maths and English;
- Commitment to obtain a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification;
- Understanding of awarding body standards and requirements;
- Experience in Further Education or a related field;
- Up-to-date occupational experience;
- Enhanced DBS check.
Preferred
- Experience working with diverse learners;
- Knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion in education;
- Experience with teaching resit and functional skills courses;
- Industry experience relevant to Maths education.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £28,997 – £43,748 per annum;
