Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons using explicit instruction and TLAC 3.0 techniques.
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential and meet high academic standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the Maths curriculum and teaching practices.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback and intervention where needed.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of teaching strategies and resources.
- Engage with students, parents, and the wider school community to promote a positive learning environment.
- Attend professional development sessions and training to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the school’s culture of ambition, character, and excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Experience in delivering lessons using direct instruction and TLAC 3.0 techniques.
- Commitment to the school’s mission of high academic standards and student empowerment.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or supporting departmental initiatives.
- Experience with data analysis and student progress tracking.
- Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in developing and delivering professional development sessions.
