Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Physics lessons to students on the A Level course.
  • Promote a positive and professional learning environment for students and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and resource lessons while maintaining teacher agency.
  • Support students in developing their understanding and application of Physics concepts.
  • Encourage student achievement and provide constructive feedback to help them progress.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to inclusivity and high academic standards.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings, planning sessions, and student support initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Physics or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Physics at A Level or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student success and professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Background in curriculum development or assessment design.
  • Experience with supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Previous experience in a sixth form or post-16 educational setting.
