The Opportunity:
As a Physics Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons and inspire students to reach their maximum potential. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Physics and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Physics lessons to students on the A Level course.
- Promote a positive and professional learning environment for students and colleagues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and resource lessons while maintaining teacher agency.
- Support students in developing their understanding and application of Physics concepts.
- Encourage student achievement and provide constructive feedback to help them progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to inclusivity and high academic standards.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, planning sessions, and student support initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Physics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Physics at A Level or equivalent.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student success and professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Background in curriculum development or assessment design.
- Experience with supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Previous experience in a sixth form or post-16 educational setting.
