Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Mathematics lessons to students in Years 7 to 11.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that raise student achievement and confidence.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Support students in achieving strong GCSE results through thorough preparation and guidance.
  • Contribute to the school’s enrichment programme by offering additional learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the teaching and learning experience.
  • Participate in staff development and professional learning activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Mathematics education.
  • Proven ability to deliver inspiring and effective lessons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in raising student achievement and confidence.
  • Familiarity with GCSE Mathematics curriculum and assessment requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and using innovative teaching resources.
  • Involvement in school enrichment or extracurricular activities.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
  • Background in teaching a wide range of abilities and learning styles.
