Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Mathematics lessons to students in Years 7 to 11.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that raise student achievement and confidence.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Support students in achieving strong GCSE results through thorough preparation and guidance.
- Contribute to the school’s enrichment programme by offering additional learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Participate in staff development and professional learning activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Mathematics education.
- Proven ability to deliver inspiring and effective lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in raising student achievement and confidence.
- Familiarity with GCSE Mathematics curriculum and assessment requirements.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and using innovative teaching resources.
- Involvement in school enrichment or extracurricular activities.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Background in teaching a wide range of abilities and learning styles.
