The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join our dedicated department and support students across Key Stages 3 to 5. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school that values innovation, excellence, and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across KS3-KS5.
  • Support the development of students’ mathematical skills and understanding.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Maths curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborative planning.
  • Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate.
  • Engage in extra-curricular activities and maths-related events.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Maths qualifications.
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3-KS5.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with GCSE and A Level Maths.
  • Experience in leading or supporting extra-curricular maths activities.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with student pastoral support and mentoring.
