The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join our dedicated department and support students across Key Stages 3 to 5. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school that values innovation, excellence, and student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across KS3-KS5.
- Support the development of students’ mathematical skills and understanding.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Maths curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborative planning.
- Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate.
- Engage in extra-curricular activities and maths-related events.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Maths qualifications.
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3-KS5.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with GCSE and A Level Maths.
- Experience in leading or supporting extra-curricular maths activities.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with student pastoral support and mentoring.
