Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across all key stages.
• Develop and implement teaching strategies that promote student achievement and progression.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s commitment to academic excellence and pastoral care.
• Participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the school’s vibrant community.
• Support the development of students’ problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Stay up to date with curriculum developments and best practices in mathematics education.
• Contribute to the leadership and management of the department, including possible TLR opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in mathematics education.
• Ability to teach across key stages, including KS5.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to the school’s mission and values.
• Experience in delivering successful teaching strategies.

Preferred

• Experience in a Catholic school or similar environment.
• Leadership experience or interest in taking on a TLR role.
• Experience with pastoral care and student support.
• Familiarity with extra-curricular activities and enrichment programs.
