Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and support students across the three Key Stages
  • Use a range of assessment strategies to provide targeted and directed feedback
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that reflect current pedagogical research
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches
  • Build strong working relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in a robust CPD programme and professional development initiatives
  • Support the school's mission to provide a high-quality education for all students
  • Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and departmental strategy

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Commitment to student achievement and professional development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning
  • Experience in pastoral support or behaviour management
  • Experience in instructional coaching or mentoring
  • Experience in cross-Trust collaboration
