The Opportunity:
Join a school seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Maths (Maternity Cover) to begin in September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing Maths faculty and to support students at all key stages with inspiring and engaging lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons at KS3, KS4, and Key Stage 5.
- Use formative and summative data to improve student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and develop resources.
- Support the implementation of Disruption Free Learning to maintain a calm and orderly environment.
- Contribute to the school’s strong pastoral and academic culture.
- Promote a growth mindset among students and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Support the school’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and student wellbeing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Maths education.
- Ability to teach across KS3, KS4, and ideally Key Stage 5.
- Commitment to collaborative working and professional development.
- Strong understanding of growth mindset and its application in teaching.
- Experience in using data to inform teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching within a school with a strong pastoral support system.
- Familiarity with Disruption Free Learning strategies.
- Previous involvement in ECT induction or mentorship programmes.
- Experience in delivering high-quality lessons that inspire student engagement.
