Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students across all key stages.
• Work collaboratively with Heads of Department and colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality teaching approach.
• Support students through differentiated instruction and targeted interventions.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of departmental policies and curriculum planning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture aligned with the school’s values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in maths.
• Experience teaching maths up to GCSE and A Level.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to student achievement and inclusion.

Preferred

• Experience with maths intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with teaching in mixed-ability and set classes.
• Experience with digital teaching tools and interactive whiteboards.
• Previous involvement in staff mentoring or training.
