The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate Teacher of English and Media Studies to contribute to a vibrant and innovative department. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement an up-to-date curriculum aligned with current pedagogy.
- Support students in achieving academic excellence through effective teaching, assessment, and feedback.
- Participate in departmental leadership and contribute to the development of teaching strategies and resources.
- Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s commitment to teacher growth.
- Mentor and support early career teachers as part of the school’s training initiative.
- Stay up to date with developments in English and Media Studies education and integrate new ideas into teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in English and Media Studies.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students through engaging teaching.
- Experience in curriculum development and delivery in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Media Studies or related subjects.
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching and learning.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
- Demonstrable success in raising student achievement and engagement.
- Experience in mentoring or leading professional development for colleagues.
