Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Support the development and implementation of the new RE Curriculum Directory.
  • Foster a Catholic ethos and encourage student engagement with spiritual and moral issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
  • Participate in staff development and training initiatives.
  • Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and pastoral activities.
  • Promote a culture of respect, love, and compassion in line with the school’s values.
  • Support students in their personal and academic development through meaningful interaction and guidance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with the new RE Curriculum Directory.
  • Experience in delivering lessons to a range of abilities.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular and pastoral activities.
  • Experience in supporting students with additional needs.
