Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Support the development and implementation of the new RE Curriculum Directory.
- Foster a Catholic ethos and encourage student engagement with spiritual and moral issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Participate in staff development and training initiatives.
- Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and pastoral activities.
- Promote a culture of respect, love, and compassion in line with the school’s values.
- Support students in their personal and academic development through meaningful interaction and guidance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Education.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with the new RE Curriculum Directory.
- Experience in delivering lessons to a range of abilities.
- Involvement in extra-curricular and pastoral activities.
- Experience in supporting students with additional needs.
