The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join its Mathematics department. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students aged 11–18 and contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to students across the full age range, including A level (pure and applied).
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the ongoing development of the Mathematics department.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics to students aged 11–18.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High standards of professionalism and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A level Mathematics (pure and applied).
  • Experience with Information Literacy in a digital learning environment.
  • Familiarity with the IB Diploma or A-levels curriculum.
  • Experience in a co-educational or boarding school setting.
