The Opportunity:

A Maths Teacher is needed to join a passionate team committed to inspiring and challenging students to achieve excellence. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student progress and development across KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that inspire and challenge students across key stages.
  • Develop engaging and innovative teaching strategies that support student progress and achievement.
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a supportive, professional environment.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
  • Experience teaching Mathematics to KS3/4, with the ability to teach KS5 preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student progress and a passion for Mathematics.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to the school culture.

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a school setting.
  • Experience with curriculum development or assessment strategies.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods or technologies.
  • Experience working in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
