Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons that meet curriculum requirements and challenge students.

- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and continuously improve teaching and learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the maths curriculum.
- Stay up to date with developments in maths education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Support the school’s wider vision by contributing to extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching maths at the appropriate level.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s ethos of ‘Students First’.
Preferred
- Experience with maths pedagogy and innovative teaching methods.
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on professional development.
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar structure.
- Experience in delivering CPD to colleagues.
- Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
