Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in accordance with the school’s policies and the principles of effective pedagogy.
  • Monitor and track student progress to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of teaching resources and schemes of work.
  • Support the enrichment of the curriculum through guest speakers and external events.
  • Participate in department planning and contribute to the overall direction of the subject.
  • Integrate IT and online platforms into teaching to enhance student engagement.
  • Engage in staff development and professional learning opportunities.
  • Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and student progress.
  • Experience in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering post-16 education and T Level qualifications.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and IT resources.
  • Experience in leading enrichment activities and student engagement initiatives.
  • Background in safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Experience in professional development and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
