Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach French and Spanish across all key stages, including KS5.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote student achievement and enthusiasm for language learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school and within the Seven Kings’ Learning Partnership to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Support the department’s commitment to outstanding examination results and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in coaching, leadership development, and cross-school collaboration opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Engage in professional development and research-informed practice to enhance teaching methods and student outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching French and Spanish.
  • Ability to teach across the full age range, including KS5.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons and achieve outstanding examination results.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
  • Background in collaborative working across a multi-school partnership.
  • Experience with research-informed teaching practices.
  • Strong leadership potential and a desire to develop professional skills.
