A Midday Supervisor is needed to oversee students during the midday break, ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging environment. The role is vital in supporting student behavior, health, and welfare during this time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during midday break to ensure a safe and positive environment
• Promote good behavior and encourage students to adhere to school rules and expectations
• Monitor and support student activities to ensure they are constructive and appropriate
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to maintain a consistent approach to student welfare
• Assist with the smooth running of the school during lunchtimes and break periods
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Support the school’s mission by fostering a caring and inclusive atmosphere
• Assist in the management of student welfare and pastoral care needs when required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A caring and responsible attitude with the ability to work with young people
• Experience in a supervisory or support role, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain discipline and manage student behavior effectively
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

• Previous experience in a school or similar setting
• Experience with child welfare and pastoral care
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and best practices
• Flexibility and willingness to work during term time only
• A positive and proactive approach to student engagement and support

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pro-rated salary based on hours worked
• Term time only position with 9.25 hours per week
