The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Teacher KS2 to join our dynamic team, teaching Years 3, 4, and 5 from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a school committed to excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning in Years 3, 4, and 5.
  • Support the holistic development of students through consistent pastoral care and strong classroom relationships.
  • Collaborate with specialist teachers in subjects such as Music, Art, and Drama to enhance the curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support individual learning needs.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education initiatives to maintain and enhance teaching standards.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community through regular communication and involvement in school events.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, resilience, and confidence in all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE).
  • Experience teaching in a primary or middle school setting, ideally within the UK.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to High Performance Learning and student-centered teaching approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with High Performance Learning methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and KS2 standards.
  • Experience working in a co-educational and independent school setting.
  • Knowledge of extra-curricular activities and pastoral care support.
