The Opportunity:

As a Minibus Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students between school sites and to extracurricular activities. This is a part-time, permanent position that offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 16-seater minibus for daily student pickups and drop-offs between school sites.
  • Transport students to planned extracurricular activities and school trips.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of students at all times during transportation.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and Operations Manager to support daily operations.
  • Follow all school policies and procedures related to transportation and student welfare.
  • Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle at all times.
  • Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
  • Assist with any additional duties as required by the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a full British manual Driving Licence for a minimum of 24 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Ability to drive a 16-seater minibus (PCV licence is desirable).
  • Strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to student safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and collaborative team player.

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar role, particularly within an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with school transport systems and procedures.
  • Experience with child passenger safety regulations.
