The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to inspire students in French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role offers the chance to contribute to a forward-thinking department and make a meaningful impact on student achievement and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach French and Spanish at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ideally in both languages.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote student achievement and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Support students in reaching their full potential through personalised learning and pastoral care.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture aligned with the school’s mission and values.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and academic progress of all students in their care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Modern Foreign Languages.
  • Ability to teach French and Spanish at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching languages.
  • Commitment to inclusion, student wellbeing, and academic excellence.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching students with diverse needs, including those with physical disabilities.
  • Familiarity with the school’s mission of compassion, ambition, and excellence.
  • Experience in working within an academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation in teaching and learning.
