Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and innovative Modern Foreign Languages lessons to students aged 11-18.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and promote cross-subject learning.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the school’s vision and mission.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through individualized learning and pastoral care.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to build strong partnerships and promote the school's values.
- Stay up to date with developments in language teaching and professional practice.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching languages.
- Experience of teaching students aged 11-18.
- Commitment to the school’s vision and values.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching GCSE and A Level courses.
- Experience with inclusive teaching and differentiated instruction.
- Familiarity with assessment and curriculum development.
- Experience in a Church of England school or similar educational environment.
