The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join its Further Education department and teach across Key Stages 3-5. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students and develop their musical talents in a well-equipped and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach A Level and GCSE Music to enthusiastic students.
  • Develop students' musical skills, performance techniques, and theoretical knowledge.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons using a range of digital and traditional teaching resources.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals in music.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student experience.
  • Manage and maintain music equipment and facilities.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular music activities.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
  • Ability to teach GCSE and A-Level Music.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student development and academic success.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching across Key Stages 3-5.
  • Familiarity with music technology, including Logic Pro X and Musescore.
  • Experience using interactive teaching tools and digital resources.
  • Background in performing arts or composition.
