The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, progress, and attainment of nursery pupils through structured activities and individualised care.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s development, progress, and attainment in line with EYFS guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a consistent and positive approach to child care and education.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of daily routines, including meals, play, and learning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with the school’s policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards.
  • Promote the school’s values and ethos through positive interactions with children and families.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working within an EYFS setting.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Preferred

  • Experience working with children aged 2 to 3 years.
  • Familiarity with early years curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Experience in a school or early years setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
