The Opportunity:
Join a dynamic team of professionals as an Occupational Therapist, delivering specialist OT assessments and interventions that support pupils in developing independence within an education setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to individual pupil needs.
- Work collaboratively with education and clinical teams to support pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence, or SEMH needs.
- Embed clinical practice across the school using the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working framework.
- Support the implementation of Occupational Therapy provisions outlined in students’ Educational, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Contribute to staff training and provide clinical consultation as required.
- Engage in professional development opportunities and participate in research projects and special interest groups.
- Maintain accurate and clear report writing to support pupil progress and outcomes.
- Support the setup and delivery of new OFG schools in the Hampshire/Surrey area.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
- Valid and up to date HCPC Registration.
- Registered member of RCOT.
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a similar setting.
- Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application.
- Ability to work independently, flexibly, and confidently.
Preferred
- Experience working with neurodivergent individuals or those with learning difficulties or socio-emotional and mental health needs.
- Sensory integration or sensory-informed practice experience (SI practitioner training in progress or completed).
- Experience working within multi-professional teams in the designated speciality.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £53,200 FTE DOE plus £3,000 Welcome Bonus.
