The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the SENCo and therapy team to deliver high-quality healthcare and therapy services.
- Collaborate with families and external agencies to ensure therapy is tailored to each child’s needs.
- Conduct autonomous assessments of children with a wide range of additional needs, including autism and sensory difficulties.
- Analyse assessments and develop individualised intervention plans to support student progress.
- Support the development of care plans and assist students with daily living, self-care, and productivity tasks.
- Maintain accurate and professional records in accordance with industry standards.
- Apply advanced clinical reasoning to manage children with complex needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Previous experience in an occupational therapy role
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency settings
- Knowledge of managing children with autism, sensory needs, and attachment difficulties
Preferred
- Experience in a CAMHS or ASC occupational therapy role
- Experience in a paediatric or special school occupational therapy role
