The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager and Headteacher's PA to join a dynamic team. This role is central to supporting the Headteacher and ensuring the smooth operation of administrative systems across the school. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, and a strong commitment to student success and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and maintain effective administrative systems in school.
  • Quality assure administrative systems and processes.
  • Contribute to the planning, development and monitoring of support services.
  • Provide a high-quality personal assistant service to the Headteacher.
  • Coordinate and delegate activities to support staff effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Work flexibly to meet the demands of the role and support school operations.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or PA role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to a Christian ethos and the school's values.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school environment, particularly within a multi-academy trust.
  • Experience with managing support staff and coordinating administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-level personal assistance to senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with school policies, procedures, and systems.
