As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students and teachers in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across a range of subjects
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, including those with additional needs
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe learning environment
- Support students with literacy, numeracy, and study skills
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities where appropriate
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with students in a school setting
- Ability to support students with diverse learning needs
- Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
- Organisational and time management skills
Preferred
- Experience in a teaching or support role within education
- Knowledge of curriculum delivery and student progress tracking
- Experience with literacy and numeracy support
- Familiarity with digital tools used in education
