The Opportunity:

As an Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school’s administrative functions. This is a key position that supports the leadership team and contributes to the school’s mission of fostering a positive and aspirational learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop administrative staff, including conducting appraisals and providing training.
  • Ensure the efficient running of all administrative functions within the school.
  • Act as a liaison between the Headteacher, Leadership Team, and the wider school community.
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of students.
  • Oversee the management of school resources and facilities.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of administrative projects and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Educated to GCSE standard at Grade A–C for a minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications.
  • A clear understanding and commitment to safeguarding and the protection of children.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or education setting.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of school management systems and software.
  • Experience with staff development and training.
