Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students at both GCSE and A Level.
- Develop engaging and innovative teaching resources to support student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning across the Faculty.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to Physics.
- Support the school’s commitment to student wellbeing and personal development.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
- Contribute to the school’s wider community through staff events and initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Physics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Physics at both GCSE and A Level.
- Commitment to student achievement and a passion for the subject.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on student outcomes and professional development.
- Experience with behaviour management and a commitment to a positive learning environment.
- Experience in delivering CPD or mentoring other teachers.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or technologies in Physics education.
