Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Develop engaging and innovative teaching resources to support student learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning across the Faculty.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to Physics.
  • Support the school’s commitment to student wellbeing and personal development.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
  • Contribute to the school’s wider community through staff events and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Physics or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Physics at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Commitment to student achievement and a passion for the subject.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on student outcomes and professional development.
  • Experience with behaviour management and a commitment to a positive learning environment.
  • Experience in delivering CPD or mentoring other teachers.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods or technologies in Physics education.
