Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
• Contribute to the delivery of Science across the curriculum.
• Support students in developing a deep understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental teaching and learning strategies.
• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that inspire curiosity and academic achievement.
• Assist with the preparation and marking of assessments and coursework.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
• Support the school’s commitment to student well-being and academic success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Chemistry.
• Experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Physics to GCSE level.
• Early career teachers with a strong desire to grow and develop.
• Experience with practical and enquiry-based science teaching methods.
