Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across key stages.
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous improvement.
  • Support the school’s mission to raise aspirations and ensure student success.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Maths subject knowledge.
  • Experience in teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 or 4.
  • Commitment to raising student achievement and progress.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching KS5 Maths or readiness to develop into KS5 teaching.
  • Experience of improving student outcomes through innovative teaching methods.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Experience with the use of digital tools in the classroom.
