Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students across key stages.
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous improvement.
- Support the school’s mission to raise aspirations and ensure student success.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Maths subject knowledge.
- Experience in teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 or 4.
- Commitment to raising student achievement and progress.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching KS5 Maths or readiness to develop into KS5 teaching.
- Experience of improving student outcomes through innovative teaching methods.
- Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Experience with the use of digital tools in the classroom.
