The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons to students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement sports programmes that promote confidence, resilience, and teamwork.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive approach to physical activity and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s commitment to a holistic education.
- Monitor and assess student progress in PE, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all students.
- Support the school’s mission and values through teaching and pastoral care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching Physical Education.
- Strong knowledge of sports and physical activity for children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in a school setting with a strong focus on extracurricular activities.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum for Physical Education.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently as part of a team.
- Experience with coaching or leading sports teams.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £17,500 - £26,500, dependent on experience.
