Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach RE across all Key Stages with a focus on engaging and inspiring students.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the RE curriculum.

  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Experience teaching RE at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Ability to teach RE at Key Stage 5.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Geography as a second subject.
  • Experience in a Catholic school or similar environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in pastoral care and student support.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
  • Flexibility to work part-time and adapt to changing school needs.
