The Opportunity:

A PE Teacher (Girls) is needed to deliver core PE lessons across all age groups and potentially lead KS4 option qualifications. The role offers the chance to contribute to a thriving extra-curricular programme and to inspire students through innovative teaching and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across the full age range
  • Develop and lead an extensive extra-curricular sports programme
  • Inspire and motivate students through enthusiastic and engaging teaching
  • Collaborate with the PE department and wider school community
  • Support the delivery of KS4 option qualifications in PE
  • Promote and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school
  • Participate in school activities that reflect the school’s mission and values
  • Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and teaching strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
  • Experience in teaching PE to girls
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values
  • Ability to inspire and engage students
  • Experience in delivering extra-curricular sports sessions

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or developing extra-curricular sports programmes
  • Experience in teaching KS4 PE qualifications
  • Newly qualified or experienced teachers with a passion for teaching and learning
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
