The Opportunity:

As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting physical activity, health, and wellbeing among students. You will inspire young people through creative and engaging sport programs, contributing to their overall development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits
  • Develop and implement sport and wellbeing programs aligned with the school’s vision and curriculum goals
  • Support the progress and health of students through individualized and inclusive teaching practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular links and student engagement
  • Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to support improvement
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice
  • Contribute to the wider school community through events, sports initiatives, and student support
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in PE
  • Commitment to student progress, health, and wellbeing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
  • Experience with Cambridge First Certificate in PE is an advantage

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at a range of levels and stages
  • Background in sport or physical activity
  • Experience with behaviour management and student support
  • Interest in professional development and continuous learning
  • Familiarity with industry-recognised qualifications and training programs
