Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons that promote confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of sport.
- Lead and develop the school’s extra-curricular sports programme, including netball, hockey, cricket, and football.
- Support students in both GCSE and A Level PE qualifications.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Promote inclusivity and innovation within the PE department.
- Encourage participation and engagement in physical activity across the school community.
- Contribute to the development of the school’s sports facilities and programmes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all physical activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in PE.
- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for netball, hockey, cricket, and football.
- Experience in delivering both academic and practical PE lessons.
- Commitment to the holistic development of students.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a collaborative culture.
Preferred
- Experience in leading extra-curricular sports programmes.
- Experience with GCSE and A Level PE.
- Passion for promoting physical activity and sport among young people.
- Familiarity with the latest PE teaching methods and technologies.
