Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons that engage students and promote physical fitness.
- Develop and implement schemes of work that align with curriculum standards and student needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress in PE, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and teamwork.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student well-being and overall school initiatives.
- Participate in staff development and training programs to enhance teaching practice.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events, including sports days and competitions.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in PE.
- Experience in teaching at the secondary level (11-16).
- Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with students with special educational needs (SEND).
- Experience in developing and leading extracurricular sports programs.
- Familiarity with the latest PE teaching methodologies and resources.
- Experience with flexible working arrangements or innovative teaching strategies.
