Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Promote a healthy and active lifestyle through inclusive and varied sporting activities.
  • Support the development of students’ physical, social, and emotional skills.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in PE and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in staff development and training programs.
  • Contribute to the school’s wider community and events.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in teaching PE at a secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student welfare.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a diverse and inclusive setting.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and PE standards.
  • Experience with extracurricular sports and activities.
  • Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
