The Opportunity:

As a Personal Assistant to the Principal, you will be responsible for supporting the Principal in managing the school’s daily operations. This role is critical to the smooth running of the institution and requires a highly organized, proactive individual with a strong administrative background. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Principal in managing the school’s day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate and manage the Principal’s schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including correspondence and administrative documents
  • Liaise with staff, parents, and external partners to ensure effective communication
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
  • Monitor and manage the school’s IT systems and ensure they are used efficiently
  • Provide high levels of customer service to all stakeholders
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion in all interactions and documentation

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a UK curriculum school
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with IT systems and office software
  • A customer service background
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting, particularly in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of school governance and operations
  • Experience with educational accreditation processes
  • Fluency in multiple languages
