The Opportunity:

As the Primary Head of Inclusion, you will play a key role in fostering an inclusive school culture that ensures every student has the opportunity to succeed. This position is central to promoting equity, supporting students with diverse needs, and creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to support inclusive education across the primary school.
• Lead initiatives that identify and address barriers to learning for all students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure consistent and effective inclusion practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of inclusion strategies on student outcomes.
• Provide professional development and guidance to staff on inclusive teaching practices.
• Work closely with the school leadership team to align inclusion efforts with the school’s strategic goals.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
• Promote a culture of respect, equity, and opportunity for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified in SEND or a related field, with a minimum of two years teaching experience.
• BEd Degree with QTS or BA in a Primary subject with PGCE.
• In-depth knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
