The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to the Headmaster. This role is essential in supporting the Headmaster’s administrative and operational needs, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and effective communication across the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritise a demanding diary, including meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Coordinate communication between the Headmaster, senior leadership team, staff, parents, and students.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, minutes, and other documentation as required.
  • Support the Headmaster in the planning and implementation of school-wide initiatives and strategies.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and professionalism of all communications and records.
  • Assist with the management of school events, including liaising with external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and systems.
  • Provide administrative support during school holidays and term time.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience in a senior administrative or support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational institution.
  • Familiarity with school operations and policies.
  • Knowledge of educational terminology and processes.
  • Experience with managing complex schedules and events.
