The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to the Headmaster. This role is essential in supporting the Headmaster’s administrative and operational needs, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and effective communication across the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritise a demanding diary, including meetings, appointments, and events.
- Coordinate communication between the Headmaster, senior leadership team, staff, parents, and students.
- Prepare and distribute reports, minutes, and other documentation as required.
- Support the Headmaster in the planning and implementation of school-wide initiatives and strategies.
- Ensure the confidentiality and professionalism of all communications and records.
- Assist with the management of school events, including liaising with external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and systems.
- Provide administrative support during school holidays and term time.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience in a senior administrative or support role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational institution.
- Familiarity with school operations and policies.
- Knowledge of educational terminology and processes.
- Experience with managing complex schedules and events.
