Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students to ensure their academic and personal development.
- Monitor student progress and work closely with teaching staff to ensure students remain on track.
- Build positive relationships with students and support them in developing study skills and well-being.
- Deliver one-to-one and group sessions to address individual student needs and aspirations.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and high achievement within the school community.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support student transitions and career planning.
- Ensure all safeguarding and welfare policies are followed at all times.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience working with young people in an educational or youth support setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- Experience in a school or college environment is essential.
Preferred
- Experience in pastoral care or student support roles.
- Knowledge of AS/A levels or Level 3 vocational courses.
- Experience with online learning platforms or digital tools.
- Understanding of inclusive education practices.
- Previous involvement in student enrichment or career guidance initiatives.
